Adrienne Reissiger, Director
Adrienne Reissiger was born and raised in Griffin Georgia. She attended Valdosta State University (VSU) and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and is also certified to teach early childhood education and Kindermusik. While in college, she was a member of the Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Paul Neal. With the chamber singers she performed various solos with the group, performed in multiple venues across Georgia and Tennessee, as well as sang as a member of the “All College Chorus” with GMEA in Savannah. She also performed lead roles in “Tartuffe” and “Tim Eno and the Magic Space Flute” with the VSU Opera. While in college, she served as the Soprano Intern for the Valdosta Choral Guild. Upon graduating, she took the position of Assistant Music Director and Children’s Music Director at First United Methodist Church in Madison, Florida. She also sang with the Sine Nomine Singers of Valdosta where she performed in multiple venues including Edinburgh, Scotland. She taught choir at Pine Grove Middle School, but eventually decided to become a stay at home mom with the arrival of her first daughter, Paisley. She currently maintains an active voice studio, teaches music at Park Avenue Preschool, and is the Music Director at Hahira United Methodist Church. Adrienne is excited to announce that she will be taking the Choral Guild to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in November! While all of this is very exciting, the most important and meaningful jobs to her are that of “mom” and “wife”.
