Director Grant Brown
Grant Brown hails from sunny Southern California where he did his undergraduate studies at Whittier College and his Master’s work in voice and choral conducting at Occidental College. Additionally, he has studied with such notable conductors as Roger Wagner, Robert Shaw and Sir David Willcocks.
Grant worked for 35 years as a church musician and served congregations in Phoenix AZ, Dallas TX, Atlanta GA and St. Simons Island GA. At his churches Grant always hosted a major concert series, had his choirs touring nationally and internationally and organized area choral festivals.
He has lived in Valdosta for the past 10 years and is the past Executive Director of the Valdosta-Lowndes Azalea Festival. He is also involved with Theatre Guild Valdosta and Christ the King Episcopal Church.
